ClydeSight Productions' Self-Esteem Uses Science to Help People Feel Good About Themselves
ClydeSight Productions has released Self-Esteem DSPP, a new subliminal messaging program as part of their Brain Wave Stimulating Digital Perception Programs (DSPP) series. It helps people maintain their self-esteem in an increasingly hostile and aggressive world.

15-year Boston area hypnotherapist, John Murray, guided and advised the development of the program to ensure that it blends the best hypnosis, self-hypnosis and subliminal messaging techniques. The messages are full sentences, such as "I always and clearly see the truth about myself in every situation." and "I am a very important part of the world and Universe."
The program runs on Windows and Macintosh computers. Users launch the program, see an introduction screen and preview the subliminal messages that boost self-esteem and inner confidence. They then start a dedicated 15-minute subliminal message session. The screen displays an emotionally neutral, abstract animation. This stimulates the brain to generate alpha and theta brain waves - the relaxation response. Subliminal messages flash on screen within the focal area of the eye, directly addressing the unconscious mind. Specific subliminal messages deliver the Activator Phrase(TM). The session ends automatically after 15 minutes and users are instructed on how to use the Activator Phrase(TM).
Self-Esteem DSPP uses a technique that has an advantage over other visual, audio tapes, and CDs. It gives the users soothing emotional rest by sitting them quietly for 15-minutes in an emotionally neutral environment while stimulating the relaxation response.
Other types of subliminal programs, if run in the background while users are engaged in some activity, do not provide any relaxation. Moreover, if a self-esteem damaging event occurs while this type of subliminal program is being used, the affirmations will be rendered ineffective do to associative dissonance. While the program says "I am worthy", experience counters it. The unconscious mind then associates the affirming subliminal messages with a negative experience, causing more harm than good.
