OLAP ModelKit allows the representation of the information as interactive pivot table enabling the arbitrary table data manipulation. The rows and columns of such interactive table are based on the data taken from several columns of an initial table or another .Net data source (including ADO.NET, IList and IListSource). Thus, reports, created with OLAP ModelKit, provide the full scale representation of multidimensional data, its processing and examination from different viewpoints (so-called slice and dice).
But sometimes the important decision should be taken almost immediately and a great amount of numbers may slow down this process. Thats why visualization of information in the form of charts and graphs considerably facilitates data processing. Chart ModelKit provides a set of 2D charts which allow the realization of graphical data representation ability. A product library includes a wide range of standard elements: axes, labels, legends, titles etc and a set of available series types: Pie, Bar, Stacked Bar, Stacked100Bar, Spline, Line, Bubble, Area, Stacked Area, Stacked100Area, Stock, Candle Stick.
The use of the OLAP + CHART ModelKit package allows the charting of multidimensional data in an understandable manner. The pack of components represents a unified development framework with similar design-time and runtime customization facilities. You wont need deep knowledge in programming to tightly integrate OLAP ModelKit with Chart ModelKit. Just place Chart Viewer on the form the DataCubeGrid is located on, few mouse clicks and data is represented as dynamical charts and diagrams.
