New Solution Protects Against E-mail Phishing Attacks.

Scam Sensor is a specialized software solution for Microsoft Outlook that identifies e-mail scams and protects companies and individuals from becoming victims to e-mail fraud that is estimated to be worth around 500 million dollars a year in the US alone.

Scam Sensor uses a proprietary heuristic algorithm to identify fraudulent e-mails. This Outlook add-in will alert users about misleading URL links inside these messages in order to prevent accidental link clicking. This is critical because most phishing sites attempt to install spyware and trojans in addition to trying to fool unsuspecting victims into giving away their personal data.
