The most common way to capture our experiences is to take many photos. Some travellers keep a log and take a GPS to capture the route they have taken. The more detailed the information, the better you will be able to re-live your trip! Track 'n Share your GPS Adventures allows you to integrate stories, photos, videos and the GPS track to form a great reflection on your travel.
Track 'n Share is unique as it integrates the power of Windows and the Web. This has several distinct advantages that browser-only based solutions cannot offer. The web application allows you to share your trips easily with friends and family. The Windows application allows you to create your travel stories. It uses a 3-step wizard that guides you through the process of downloading GPS tracks directly from your GPS, adding text, photos,videos and viewing the complete trip in Google Maps and Google Earth. It also offers an automatic upload feature.
You can add hundreds of photos and videos in just 3 clicks. All photos and videos are automatically placed at the right location on your GPS track. You can add comments and playback your track in high quality.
Privacy is very important and throughout the application, many privacy options are built-in. You can distinguish between private and public text and choose which photos you want to upload. This allows you to only show an abstract of your trip online, while having the complete trip available for your personal use, stored on your computer. As uploading is optional, you can even use the software free for your personal use only.
