Yet, CVCs also enhance the security levels provided by SSLs by adding a pertinent component to the online experience - trust. By applying CVCs to specified content, such as the Boiling Springs Savings Bank logo, log-in boxes and rate pages, consumers can verify if the content is genuine by dragging their mouse cursor over these items. If the site is authentic, a bright green border will outline the Internet interface window. In order to make this work, consumers need to simply download Comodo's free VerificationEngineĀ software from its Web site (www.comodogroup.com).
