BlogJet 2.5, A New Version of Blog Editor for Windows Released

Coding Robots today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of BlogJet 2.5, a new version of the blog editor for Windows.

The update includes full Unicode support in rich text and HTML editors, support for creating and editing pages on WordPress blogs, improvements to post editing, creating and deleting of categories and tags, and better look on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Other improvements include an option to view details in WYSIWYG editor, ability to toggle word wrap and automatic closing of HTML tags in code editor, and bug fixes.

BlogJet is a native application for posting to blogs right from Windows, which supports most major blogging platforms, including WordPress, TypePad, Movable Type, Blogger, and more. It allows authors to edit and publish their blog posts without dealing with slow web interfaces. BlogJet supports offline mode useful for creating posts without Internet connection while on the road.

BlogJet, first released in 2004, is one of the widely recognized blog clients for Windows, featured in more than 15 bestselling books on blogging (including “Blogging for Dummies”, “Building a WordPress Blog”, and “Clear Blogging”).

Pricing and Availability:

BlogJet 2.5 is available for $39.95 (USD) for a single license, or $69.95 for a family pack from the online store. A free 30-day trial version is available for download from the product website. Customers who purchased BlogJet 2.0 are entitled for the free upgrade.

BlogJet requires Windows XP or later.
