Baycastle is pleased to announce the launch of a powerful new tool for data migration and data quality audit. A new entry in the ETL market, DataSlave's target is the end user. Be it a marketing executive, the proprietor of a small business or a small IT function in a department of a larger organisation, the user will find DataSlave effective and good value for money. DataSlave Standard is $249.00 and DataSlave Pro $399.00.
The key to DataSlave is simplicity of use and the visibility of the data at all times. Data can be imported, checked for quality, transformed to meet requirements and exported. All this just using drag and drop. Pick from a tablet of objects, drag them onto the map and connect up. Nothing could be simpler. At all times the data is visible and the effect of each stage of the map can be seen. Data may even be modified while inside DataSlave.

More than 85 validate functions including comparison with values, national postcodes, telephone numbers, US SSN, UK NI Number, surnames and many more
More than 30 transformation functions including case manipulation, replace, trim, spilt, append, prefix, lookup and many more
The ability to extend validate and transform with Regular Expressions, VB Script or Java Script
Fast processing with a batch capability
A comprehensive SDK allowing DataSlave to be extended or embedded in other applications, for example to quickly add an import capability to a software vendor's product
