Barracuda Networks Announces Virus-Checking In All Products At No Additional Cost

Barracuda Networks, manufacturer of the Barracuda Spam Firewall, announced the addition of virus-checking to all Barracuda Spam Firewall products. Unlike most virus-checking solutions in the market today, Barracuda Networks does not charge a per-user fee for this feature. This feature is standard in all Barracuda Spam Firewall products.

Los Altos, CA August, 2003 –- Barracuda Networks, manufacturer of the Barracuda Spam Firewall, announced the addition of virus-checking to all Barracuda Spam Firewall products. Unlike most virus-checking solutions in the market today, Barracuda Networks does not charge a per-user fee for this feature. This feature is standard in all Barracuda Spam Firewall products.

Dean Drako, CEO & President of Barracuda Networks, stated that “Barracuda Networks is pleased to offer the virus-checking feature as standard in all Barracuda products. This helps further ensure that our customers’ email accounts are safe and secure.”

Matt Connolly of Address.com, a beta user of the virus-checking feature, noted that “by having virus-checking built into my Barracuda Spam Firewall, I was able lighten the load on my email servers, which had previously been running separate virus-checking solutions.”
