ArKaos releases VJ 3.5 MIDI
ArKaos is launching the latest version of its popular video jockey software, ArKaos VJ 3.5, which adds, amongst others, FreeFrame plug-ins support, Firewire video output, a new automation mode and a new positional effect.
ArKaos is proud to uncover the new version of ArKaos VJ. In addition to the broad set of features already available, this version introduces the following new developments:
FreeFrame is a popular open source framework for video plug-in development. By adding FreeFrame support, ArKaos now enables VJ users to access a vast library of third party effect plug-ins. This new version comes shipped with 42 FreeFrame effects. For more information about FreeFrame, see http://www.freeframe.org
ArKaos VJ now supports real-time video output through Firewire connection (Mac & PC) for the recording of live performance and connection to digital mixers.
A new automation mode takes advantage of the latest features of VJ to stack intelligently visuals and effects producing a smooth and natural automated performance. Ideal when you need to take a Break!
A new positional effect allows controlling the position of your visual on a 3D plane and moving it anywhere on the screen through MIDI controllers.
The application is fully compatible with the latest versions of Mac OS X 10.4.x, Mac OS 9.x, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

ArKaos VJ 3.5 MIDI installs in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. A separate installer in Japanese will be available shortly.
