Alphalogix Wins IBM Beacon Award for Greatest Business Impact at Worldwide Partner Conference in Las Vegas

Orange County, CA March 11, 2004 -- Alphalogix has been chosen as the recipient of IBM’s coveted PartnerWorld Beacon Award. Alphalogix won in the category of Greatest Business Impact for a Software Solution.

The IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards were presented to twenty-eight IBM Business Partners during a gala cocktail reception and awards ceremony at The Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas. The ceremony took place during IBM’s annual PartnerWorld Conference, the largest gathering of IBM Business Partners in the world. Chosen as a Finalist from a field of more than 600 nominations from 44 countries, the Alphalogix Workcenter Enterprise Portal Solution is part of an elite 10 percent of outstanding innovations in e-business. The IBM PartnerWorld Bacon Awards recognize IBM Business Partners that have excelled in providing quality e-business solutions and services to customers based on IBM Technologies.

Alphalogix received the award for their work with 20th Century Fox Film Corporation on a comprehensive Workcenter Enterprise Portal solution powered by IBM technology. The FOXSphere solution by Alphalogix enables 20th Century Fox Film Corporation employees to collaborate in real time from any corner of the world. Using the Alphalogix Workcenter Enterprise Portal’s single-sign-on and directory capability, the FOXSphere portal integrates Instant Messaging and Advanced Collaboration along with Team Workplaces to empower effective communication and collaboration. Alphalogix also developed a solution for box office reporting and filmography information. The portal enables a global community that connects users instantly with product experts and members of other project teams, resulting in improved communications, faster response to market trends, and shorter time to market for new products.

This solution represents one of the most complete integrations of the IBM family of products for a single customer solution to date. Alphalogix enhanced this offering with their custom developed portal products for the entertainment and media industry.

The entire solution is outsourced to Alphalogix Network Services and is hosted at the Alphalogix Western United States Data center, further lowering the customers total cost of ownership and allowing for rapid "proof of concept" and application deployment phases. This solution represents significant return on investment (ROI) for 20th Century Fox Film Corporation. It reduces their many different service offerings and log on systems to a centrally administered, single point of entry solution for their user population.
