Aloaha releases PDF Form Server
Ibbenbueren, 06.08.2006, Aloaha Software is proud to announce the new Aloaha PDF Form Server.
Traditionally it is not possible to save PDF Forms incl. Form Data to disk. That changed with the introduction of the Aloaha PDF Saver. With the Aloaha PDF Form Saver it is possible to open any PDF Form, fill it in, sign/timestamp it and save it completed back to disk.
Now it is possible to host your PDF Forms in our Data Center. Such forms can be opened via a standard web browser together with the free Adobe Reader. The form will be opened in the Reader. Data will be posted to our Data Center which renders the data into the form and sends it back to the reader. Additional it is possible to instruct our Aloaha PDF Form Server to digitally sign/timestamp (RFC 3161) the PDF Form before sending it back to the reader.
Like that the user has a confirmation/evidence that he submitted the form at a point of times. This is also called eNotary and can be compared with a registered letter send my normal post.
A demonstration form is available at http://pki.aloaha.com/pdf. Just fill it in and press the "Send email" Button. This PDF Form is also attached to this email so it can be evaluated directly with the Adobe Reader. After pressing the email button please be a bit patience. The data is submitted to Aloaha, signed, sealed, timestamped on our server and send back. That can take a couple of seconds.
