Alentum Software, Inc. announces the release of Absolute RSS Editor, an off-line RSS generator for Windows. The new RSS generator makes creating, validating and publishing RSS feeds and iTunes podcasts a matter of a few clicks. Absolute RSS Editor conforms to the strictest RSS standards and latest recommendations of the RSS Advisory Board, producing valid RSS code without requiring its users to learn XML. The new version introduces the ability to import RSS feeds directly from the Internet with the added Open From Web command.
About Absolute RSS Editor
Absolute RSS Editor makes it easy to create, validate, and publish iTunes podcasts and RSS 2.0 feeds with an easy-to-use RSS generator. The new RSS generator automates the entire process of creating RSS feeds, allowing anyone to start publishing Web news feeds in the popular format in an instant without knowing XML. The RSS generator does everything off-line on one's PC, and produces fully standard-compliant RSS feeds supporting the latest recommendations of the RSS Advisory Board. It is possible to format news postings without having to learn HTML thanks to the built-in editor. The supplied HTML editor allows editing feed descriptions as well as descriptions of every feed item in a fully visual mode.
A convenient step-by-step wizard guides users through the entire process of making and publishing an RSS feed. Simply selecting the news and clicking 'Next' a few times will generate an RSS feed that will validate with the strictest feed validators. The developers of Absolute RSS Editor constantly monitor the latest advisories released by the RSS Advisory Board, and update the RSS generator promptly if a new recommendation becomes available.
After the wizard has finished, the RSS generator creates an RSS feed or iTunes podcast, validating the content against the strict RSS Advisory Board recommendations and allowing the user to preview the feed just created. Access to the XML source code is provided. Another click of a button publishes the newly generated RSS feed to a Web site using the FTP protocol.
iTunes users wanting their own podcast will find the new RSS generator extremely handy. The RSS generator supports iTunes extensions, and is able to create iTunes podcasts just as easily as RSS feeds. Generating RSS feeds and publishing iTunes podcasts has never been easier!
