Agriya launches new High Definition (HD) Flash Video (FLV) Player
Chennai, 05/11/2008. Agriya Infoway, a Chennai based Software Company, announced its latest software release with the launch of a HD FLV Player, a tool to play FLV videos on a website with great control for users and provide for a broader audience.
The growing popularity of flash videos has encouraged more and more websites to add them and has created the need for players that support a number of formats and be user friendly at the same time.
The HD FLV Player loads and plays .mp4, .m4v, .m4a, .mov and .3gp files, and also supports all audio sampling rates ranging from 8 KHz to 96 KHz.
It offers multi lingual support, including Hebrew and Arabic, is easy to install and supports streaming and buffering from different protocols. It supports an external XML playlist that allows users to change their content and playback settings without modifying any source files. Apart from multiple videos, it also supports thumbnail lists for easier navigation. Users can switch to different screen modes and can control video frames and audio levels.
Another feature of this player is hardware scaling support- which lends itself to enhance the video playback experience of high definition videos in full screen.
One big innovation of Agriya's HD FLV Player is the introduction of subtitles which can be shown at any point on any video. The start time and duration for an unlimited amount of subtitles can be set, if the audio is unclear or if the video is in a foreign language.
Agriya has teamed up with LongTail Ad Solutions to provide customers with a way to monetize their videos, through ads that will appear either at start, middle or end of videos.
It is priced at 147 $ and aims to be a promising player and do away with pixilated videos. Agriya Infoway provides installation services and custom programming, apart from after sales services and 24/7 support. They even provide a sample file which users can modify to suit their needs. All buyers will also get a 23 page user manual which includes screenshots and sample code and demonstrates how to get the most from their own HD FLV Player.
