AdvertMarket Poses a Threat to the Future of Online Marketing
Memphis, Tennessee February 7, 2004 -- The future of online marketing has been in the midst of change ever since the crash a few years ago. AdvertMarket is threatening the way advertising is currently being sold by leading the internet into a revolutionary new approach to advertising on the web. Jonathan Almarez, co-founder of AdvertMarket, says it gives control back to those who deserve it.
Empowering both website publishers and internet marketers with the ability to choose their own prices truly gives back the control. Publishers submit their sites to be listed in AdvertMarket's directory. Advertisers in turn search for websites that best suit their targeted needs. Each publisher sets their own price and rules for their adspaces which can be CPI (cost-per-impression) or CPD (cost-per-day) models. Advertisers can easily compare all listings by CPM rates and average daily impressions. When they find websites upon which to advertise, they simply add it to their cart. This allows them to buy online advertising on many websites in their targeted area with one transaction using a unified, automated system.
There are many reasons why this model is a good one. First of all, it takes away the trust issue. No longer do advertisers have to worry if they are getting what they paid for. No longer do publishers have to worry if the advertisers are going to pay or not. The AdvertMarket model only pays the publisher as the advertisement gets fulfilled. Both parties can cancel at anytime.
This seems to be the way online advertising is heading. These online markets for advertisers provide the most control for those who use them. There are already other websites who are now following the AdvertMarket model. Some are being newly created. We will see how long this new frenzy sticks around. One thing is for sure, it works.
AdvertMarket.com is newly created. Starting production in April of 2003 they introduced the new advertising model in October of that same year. Now they are providing hundreds of thousands of impressions per day for online marketers to benefit from. Their commission fees are one of the lowest on the internet at only 9.5%.
