AdventNet Introduces ManageEngine OpUtils 3 - A New Network Troubleshooting Product Available In Free and Professional Editions

OpUtils is a Java and web-based troubleshooting product for monitoring IT resources such as routers, switches, servers, desktops, etc. The toolset is suited for IT operational staff and network engineers responsible for maintaining and monitoring networks.
Tools to Troubleshoot IT Resource Problems Quickly
AdventNet ManageEngine OpUtils 3 provides real time monitoring tools to troubleshoot network performance, bandwidth utilization, connectivity issues before they turn into costly outages. In addition, it monitors delayed response times, CPU usage, hard disk utilization, device availability and software inventory, etc.
OpUtils suite includes the following modules:
Diagnostic tools - Troubleshoots frequent network problems such as network connectivity, availability, health and latency of any IP node or a network
Address monitoring tools - Manages DNS names, IP and MAC addresses of a network
Desktop monitoring tools - Fetches system details such as CPU usage, Hard disk usage, Running Processes, Installed Software, etc
Network monitoring tools - Contains Switch Port Mapper, Network inventory & scanner tools and tools for network performance & bandwidth
Monitoring Cisco tools - Provides details about Cisco routers such as Flash, IOS, Chassis, Routing table, CPU, Memory, Config File Viewer, etc
SNMP tools - Monitors any vendor specific device not covered by the above tools. This includes MIB Viewer, SNMP Graph, Trap Receiver, SNMP Walker and MIB Browser.
Packaging, Pricing and Free Download
OpUtils' Free Edition contains 25 tools and the Professional Edition has over 40 tools at a price of $195.
Some of the tools included in the Free Edition are: Ping Scan, SNMP Scan, MAC Scan, DNS Scan, Enhanced Ping, Proxy Ping, CPU, Hard disk, Process monitoring, and SNMP Tools like SNMP Walker, SNMP Graph, MIB Viewer and Trap Receiver.
The Professional Edition has over 40 tools that include additional tools such as Switch Port Mapper, IP Address Manager, Wake-on-LAN, Performance and Bandwidth monitoring and Cisco Router monitoring tools like IOS, Chassis, Flash, CPU, Memory, Interfaces, Config File Viewer and others.
As OpUtils is a web-based product, installing it on a single machine enables multiple-user support.
