Acute Tools Advances Versatility of Photo Recovery Software with New Version

(Murfreesboro, TN) June 14, 2010 -- Acute Tools has released version 4.2 of Photo Nose - a photo recovery software program that runs on Windows including the new Windows 7. Users recover digital photos from memory cards used by most digital cameras; photos believed lost forever due to unintentional deletion or corruption can be recovered with this software. Photo Nose also works well with USB drives and other external drives. The software returns recoverable photos found after a scan and displays them as previews in an easy to navigate format allowing users to select each image they wish to recover by placing checkmarks on the images. Once the user opts to recover the images selected, the software license is acquired for a fee.

The most notable upgrade with this new version (which is freely available to all past customers of Photo Nose) is the ability to backup a memory card to a file on the hard drive which can be used later to recover pictures. This allows users to immediately reuse memory cards without fear of overwriting possibly valuable and recoverable photos, because once files are overwritten the photos are truly lost beyond the reach of photo recovery software. The actual photo recovery is performed on this backup of the memory card.

Pricing is set at $35.95 for a personal license with an optional commercial license at $249.95 for those wishing to perform recovery for their customers.
