AWARE SERVERS UNVEILS INDUSTRY'S FIRST ALL-IN-ONE SERVER SOLUTION FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - October 17 - Aware Servers(TM), Inc., a startup company dedicated to bringing server solutions to small and medium sized enterprises, unveils its first all-in-one server solution. The a101 server includes: hardware, software, support, maintenance, monitoring, unlimited client licensing, and virtual system administration. Aware Servers introduces the server at $149.99 per month.
Based on open source software and Aware Servers Virtusys(TM) technology, the a101 allows for complete functionality and client compatibility. The a101 can act as a Firewall, Virtual Private Network (VPN) server, Web server, File/Print server, Email server with spam identification, Relational Database server, Intrusion Detection System, and Authentication server. Additional information is available at the company's web site http://www.awareservers.com
"Until now, small and medium sized enterprises have had to struggle with complex and often costly commercial packages, configuration and administration," says Amit Shah, President and Chief System Architect. He adds that, "the a101 is a plug and work solution. With our Virtusys technology, the customer can have a fully maintained server and easy configuration server, with minimal knowledge of servers or networks."
Aware Servers' Virtusys technology, which is integrated on the a101, is designed to provide the client maximum access to their data and network within a secure environment. With Aware Servers' Virtusys Web System Administration Software, computer novices can fully configure their server in a minimal amount of time. This also allows users to perform administrative tasks in just minutes. Instead of the traditional desktop system console interface, the Aware Servers solution has a Web interface, which allows for simple configuration from the user's computer.
Furthermore, the Virtusys backend actively monitors for service and hardware failures every five minutes. Virtusys detects any problems; Aware Servers can fix the problem remotely twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, regardless of the clients' location. In addition, Virtusys continually updates the system for bug fixes and security patches that are tested on Aware Servers test servers for compatibility, stability and functionality in the client environment.
