AKVIS ArtSuite v.6.0 Supports Frame Packs
Whether you plan to upload holiday photos on a web-site to share with your friends or you wish to decorate a personalized greeting card, you can rely on AKVIS ArtSuite - it will add elegance and style to any photo.
AKVIS ArtSuite not only offers edge effects for adding photo frames to digital photos, but also is constantly enriched with new artistic effects as well. Thanks to the large number of effects and a rich Pattern Library, the software can generate an endless variety of effect versions.
The effects are grouped as Frames and Effects:
Photo Frames allow generating a photo frame for a digital photo. It can be a classic frame with wood carving or a funny frame with some cheerful frogs along the border. Photo frames samples that come with ArtSuite can be easily tailored to any photo.
Artistic Effects allow one to experiment with photos - convert a photo into a B&W image and then add a color shade to it; replace colors in an image, add a texture (chosen from the built-in Texture Library or one created by the user) so that the image looks like it has been drawn on a canvas, brick wall, corrugated paper, etc.

These frame packs contain frames which have been designed by artists specially for ArtSuite. Please note that these frames are only available in the standalone version for technical reasons.
Also new to Version 6.0: support for 64 bit in the plugin version, bug fixes, and a new installation program. Upgrade for registered users is free.

Also, two new themed frame packs are available - Wedding and Travel Frame Packs. The Wedding Pack is ideal for framing the memories of your special day, while the Travel Pack is a great way to present your travel adventures and photos of tours to famous places. Both packs contain 50 high quality hand painted frames.
The Wedding Frame Pack is available for 15 USD and the Travel Pack for 12 USD. They require registration before they can be used with ArtSuite.
AKVIS ArtSuite runs on Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/Win 7 and on Macintosh Mac OS X 10.4-10.6.
For a free trial, AKVIS offers 10 days of fully functional use.
