Irvine, CA May 26, 2004 -– Advanced Technology and Systems Co., Ltd. This RAID system combines a 2 Gb Fibre Channel interface with the breakthrough technology of Serial ATA (SATA) and state-of-the-art ADTX-specific features to create a cost effective solution for Storage Area Networks (SAN).

ADTX L Series RAID systems are produced in both a Standard Performance and a High Performance version. Standard Performance has throughput speeds of a typical SATA based RAID systems while still retaining all L Series features.

The High Performance model uses high speed RAM and a specially designed parity generating co-processor that provides throughput speeds that are much higher. The throughput is high enough in some applications to replace SCSI or Fibre Channel drive based RAID systems.
