Publisher's description

"AutoCAD DXF file import add-in for SpaceClaim"
DXF Import for SpaceClaim is an AutoCAD DXF file import add-in for SpaceClaim. It gives SpaceClaim the ability to import mesh objects from AutoCAD DXF files as solids models in SpaceClaim.

SpaceClaim already has an AutoCAD DXF import feature. However, this import feature imports only 3D solid objects and ignored polyface mesh, polygon mesh and 3d face objects in DXF files. DXF Import for SpaceClaim removes this limitation by giving SpaceClaim the ability to read polyface mesh, polygon mesh and 3d face objects from DXF files and creates corresponding 3d solid models in a SpaceClaim document which can be edited by SpaceClaim's direct editing tools.

DXF Import for SpaceClaim is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SpaceClaim. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into SpaceClaim and adds a ribbon bar to the SpaceClaim called "SYCODE" containing the newly added commands.

The new commands are:
Import - Imports a DXF file
Help - Displays the DXF Import for SpaceClaim help file
Register - Displays the DXF Import for SpaceClaim product registration dialog box
About - Displays the DXF Import for SpaceClaim about box

DXF Import for SpaceClaim comes with detailed documentation for each command as well as a tutorial to get you started in the shortest possible time.

Requirements: SpaceClaim version 2008, 2009
