SpaceClaim already has the ability to export AutoCAD DXF files. However the DXF export feature ignores solids and surfaces and only exports curves, thus making the DXF file practically useless for 3D modeling in AutoCAD or other programs that can read solids from DXF files. DXF Export for SpaceClaim removes this limitation by giving SpaceClaim the ability to export solids to AutoCAD DXF files.
DXF Export for SpaceClaim is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SpaceClaim. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into SpaceClaim and adds a new ribbon bar to SpaceClaim called "SYCODE" containing the newly added commands.
The new commands are:
Export - Exports a DXF file
Help - Displays the DXF Export for SpaceClaim help file
Register - Displays the DXF Export for SpaceClaim product registration dialog box
About - Displays the DXF Export for SpaceClaim about box
DXF Export for SpaceClaim comes with detailed documentation for each command as well as a tutorial to get you started in the shortest possible time.
