"AutoCAD DWG file import add-in for SpaceClaim"
SpaceClaim already has an AutoCAD DWG import feature. However, this import feature imports only 3D solid objects and ignored polyface mesh, polygon mesh and 3d face objects in DWG files. DWG Import for SpaceClaim removes this limitation by giving SpaceClaim the ability to read polyface mesh, polygon mesh and 3d face objects from DWG files and creates corresponding 3d solid models in a SpaceClaim document which can be edited by SpaceClaim's direct editing tools.
DWG Import for SpaceClaim is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SpaceClaim. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into SpaceClaim and adds a ribbon bar to the SpaceClaim called "SYCODE" containing the newly added commands.
The new commands are:
Import - Imports a DWG file
Help - Displays the DWG Import for SpaceClaim help file
Register - Displays the DWG Import for SpaceClaim product registration dialog box
About - Displays the DWG Import for SpaceClaim about box
DXF Import for SpaceClaim comes with detailed documentation for each command as well as a tutorial to get you started in the shortest possible time.
