Publisher's description

"See and listen in on programs using the net"
Port Explorer is the ultimate network port exploration tool for Windows. It allows you to see all the open network ports/sockets on your system and which programs own them. Along with this ability it also has many tools including a packet sniffer, bandwidth throttling and country detection to name just a few. It has an intuitive interface that allows you to quickly and easily see all the network activity your computer is involved in.

Port Explorer allows you to see and have complete control over all of the network sockets on your system, immediately letting you know which processes are behind which ports/sockets. If you see a socket you don't like you can close it. If you see a socket you're suspicious about, you can listen in on the data it sends/receives (a technique often referred to as packet sniffing). A variety of related built-in tools also provide further analysis and testing capabilities.

Antivirus information

Download3K did not scan Port Explorer for viruses, adware, spyware or other badware. For your own safety, we recommend that you always have an antivirus, with virus definitions up to date, installed on your computer when downloading and installing programs from the web.
