Brand new Google Desktop gadget allows you to view friends' posts directly on the Google Sidebar! The full version displays all of your posts, including friends-only ones!
Log in to the LiveJournal and view friends' posts. Posts are sorted by date with the latest on top. Click on the post in the list and read its contents with full HTML formatting and view embedded pictures. Title link on the top of the post window redirects you to the original post page on the LiveJournal. You can set up the number of posts displayed and the time between the automatic updates.
