Live Alpha is a software plug-in that augments or replaces stand alone titling devices and character generators for use in live webcasts. Professional titles created in any imaging program can be overlaid on live video with support for transparency and layering. The plug-in operates within Windows Media Encoder 9 or a custom application based on Windows Media Encoder can incorporate Live Alpha.
The major features of Live Alpha include alpha channel support, color masking and fade in/out control. Titles can have varying transparency by utilizing the alpha channel of 32-bit image files. Color masking makes one color in a title transparent. All of these effects are rendered with the highest image quality while consuming a fraction of the system resources of competing plug-ins.
Live Alpha?s flexible features and integration with existing software make it simple to deploy and reduces the amount of hardware required for a video production. It also delivers exceptional value costing far less than a comparable hardware based solution.
