Today's audio software enables you to get ultimate performances and professional results on the different stages of digital editing: effects processing, sequencing, sampling, mixing, converting formats and sample rates, recording, mastering... as well as also using tools such as plug-ins, then VST instruments, different kinds of libraries (loops, samples, sounds...),... However, although necessary, all these possibilities are not sufficient to start creating your song. First of all, you need to have a basic melodic pattern or short musical idea also called a motif or a figure. Then it would be easy or, at least, it would be possible to start composing a new song. Generally, it is really simple to recognize "good musical idea" but, sometimes, it's almost impossible to make it, especially when you need it the most: ideas, inspiration, motivation... they are unpredictable. That is to say: what is about composing? How to compose your own music? Looking for an idea, waiting for the inspiration to come,... it takes time with no guarantee of returns matching your search criteria. Even an advanced knowledge of music theory doesn't help all the time. To compose music and songs you first must have an idea about what you want to include in the song. But, once you have it, it is only a small step to take it to the next grade: creating music of your own. Making music with Virtual Music Composer is simple: make your own music just by listening to the music! Run program, click on START... and listen. The program creates 8-bar musical phrases as the most used way to compose songs. When you hear a phrase / theme that you like - click SAVE. That's all.
