"The best multimedia results!"
Nero 2014 yet again improves on itself from predecessors by updating to a more modern user interface, adding support for nearly current device, and making Ripping, Burning, Editing, Converting, and Backing up media easier than before. Nero has long been a leader in the Burning Rom industry and it’s easy to understand why if you’ve ever used one of their packed full of functionality programs before. Nero 2014 continues to bring more advanced features to its 2014 edition without making it more difficult for users to use. In fact it tries hard to make sure any user will be comfortable burning or editing their media. All for the current price of $130, you can consider that a bargin.
Nero 2014 has also improved much of its functionality under the hood as well by having faster usability and encoding. A big improvement is the Nero Media Home application which is much faster than before and with the new clean modern look of Nero 2014 you may find yourself using Nero to manage your media files a lot more than before. You can also be confident that Nero 2014 supports just about any format out there today. From Blu-Ray DVDs to 3D Blu-Ray’s Nero 2014 has a incredible compatibility list.
The application also improves on previous photo, sound, and video editing tools which comes with a generous amount of tweeks and effects to add to your projects. Having the ability to work with your audio and video in HD is a great way to create professional looking projects with minimum effort on the user’s part.
Installation is standard and doesn’t require any additional functionality. Nero 2014 works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Also make sure to look out for a “SpeedUpMyPC 2013” application that will install with Nero if you don’t opt out.
Nero 2014 may feel very familiar if you’ve ever used Microsoft Windows 8. It defiantly looks like they had touch screens involved when creating this UI. The main interface slides in and out from the side of your screen with a list of all the included options. Which one notable application for users who prefer quick and easy burning functionality is Nero Express which is perfect for those not looking for too many advanced options.
- Improves on previous entries with a newer design, more compatibly, and faster processing
- Able to edit and burn 3D & Blu-Ray videos
- Editing for photo, audio, and video
- Comes with a Home Media Center that works well in organizing your media.
- Easy to use functions and interface which Nero also includes its own Tutorials.
- Nero 2014 improves on almost every area of the 2012 version and I experienced no issues.
Though Nero 2014 appears to be at the top of the food change in their environment other burning, editing, and home media center applications to be noted would be Cyberlink's Media Suite and Roxio’s Creator. Both offer similar functionality and it’s nice to have options when shopping on a budget.
Nero 2014 is without a doubt the best entry to the long series of releases from Nero. It’s sleek and easy to use with loads of functionality. $130 US Dollars may seem like a large price tag for a CD Burning application, but Nero 2014 is so much more than just that. You can be sure that Nero 2014 will be able to cover pretty much anyone’s media needs. If you’re the kind of person who edits and burns lots of media you’ll be pleased with all that Nero 2014 has to offer.
