Site Monitor's monitoring engine runs as a Windows NT service. It's a high performance multithreaded program that performs the web site monitoring. It can support up to 150 simultaneous Internet socket connections. That means that it can perform up to 150 monitoring checks concurrently.

Site Monitor Enterprise is very scaleable. It's compatible with Windows 2000\XP Professional operating system or Windows Server 2000\2003 operating systems. You don't have to start out with an expensive server operating system. It requires a broadband Internet connection or a T1 line, but it will work fine with a home cable modem
