Windows Communicator 2.1 Build 49 Publisher's description
Communicator for private, public and channel chat in corporate networks. Build-in file transfer and formatted text editor allows to simplify distribution the information across your company network. Additionally application has internal SMS server, the allows to send SMS messages by central server with connected mobile phone.
Administrators of network have a great tool for getting remotely system information such as installed software, full hardware information or running application from any computer using System Information Manager.
The company chief has the powerful statistical-monitoring tool, that displays productivity of employee such as: startups of applications, time of activity in that applications, chat history, SMS history.
Windows Communicator enables you to monitor the activity of your employees, with automatic online notification or activity notification. When status of communicator user if Do Not Disturb no window popup on screen. You can assign the sound to many communicator events such as incoming message or when new user join the communicator.
History of chat
Every mesages of any kind of chat can be stored in history file and printed.
User groups
If your administrator doesn't specified default user groups, you can create your own and assign users to groups.
Notification
Notification on new message, private, public or channel can be realized as one of three different methods: automatical poup main communicator window, baloon hint near system clock, this method does not disturb you while working, the next notification method is blinking communicator icon near system clock.
SMS
Sending SMS is the unique function in that kind of applications. Program allows to configure application to queue SMS messages sent by communicator users and automatic send by connected to server mobile phone. Company chief can enter monitoring web site and how what SMS messages has been sent, when, and what phone number to.
Remote hardware and software inspection
Admistrator or other authorized person can remotely retrieve complete information about computers of communicator users. The most important informations are: installed software, hard disk details (size, space left), information about hardware as hardware tree, information about running Windows services, applications in registry autostart, running applications and much more...
Administrator can also start remotely any application or display the web site on communicator client's computer. Remote restart or shutdown is the next function that simplifies managing your network computers.
Monitoring functions
Company chief has the powerful raporting engine, that displays you the productivity of employee as simple report or charts. Engine gives you an information about every application started on communicator user's computer, activity in that application, time of application close. Monitoring engine takes screenshots from selected computers, company chief can easily view working day of any employee. Reporting tool reports also private chat history, public history, chat in channels. Access to all described functions is available from internal web site.
