"PIXI - The Whole Webpage Picture Downloader"
PIXI is a tool that will download ALL the JPEG images from a webpage containing links to the images. All you have to do is copy the URL of the webpage to the clipboard and PIXI will do the rest.
If you want to view pictures when you are not connected to the internet, this is the tool for you. If you want to save images that are freely available online, PIXI is ideal. PIXI is very easy to use, with only one screen containing all the controls you need, and your settings are saved when you close the application.
Now you can surf the web and when you find a page you like (it must have at least one link to a jpg/jpeg picture), just by copying the URL from the address bar PIXI will start downloading all the images linked in the page to the folder of your choice.
Here is an example of how you would use PIXI to get photos (always respecting copyright issues that may exist):
1. You find a webpage that has thumbnails linking to JPEG images (or just links with no thumbnails).
2. With PIXI running, you copy the URL from the address bar in your browser window - just right click on the URL and it should bring up a menu from which you can click 'Copy'.
3. PIXI will then show 'Getting...' in the status display. All the images will be saved to the folder you choose (in this example, C:\somefolder\images). Additionally, in this examply all the images will be numbered and have '_add_this_text' added to them (eg: '12_add_this_text.jpg'). You can either number the downloads incrementally, or keep the original names from the website.
Requirements: .NET Framework 1.1 or greater
