Overview

When your PC is just not efficient enough, then you know it’s time to clean it up from junk files and debris created throughout daily work on your computer and internet surfing. JetClean is the right program to easily achieve that and make your machine good as new. Features include RAM Clean, Uninstaller, Registry Defrag, Internet booster and automatic execution of scheduled tasks. It also wipes any traces from online visits to websites to secure your privacy.

Installation

The installation could not be simpler. It is so smooth that you won’t even notice when it’s over. There is no adware included in this package, unlike many other software that belong in the same category and try to install adware (or sometimes even spyware) to track your activity.

JetClean can be installed in any computer running a Windows XP, Vista or 7 operating system.

Interface

When you launch the program for the first time it will greet you with an introductive message, which will take you to the settings window if you click on the bottom link. After closing this message, you can see the main window, which is tidy and solid. This is the first out of the three available tabs, and it contains 1-click maintenance tools (Registry Clean, Windows Clean, Apps Clean, Shortcuts Clean and RAM Clean). The second tab has extra tools like Uninstaller, Startup Optimization, Registry Defrag and Internet Booster. Note that the last two utilities (Registry Defrag and Internet Booster) are only available in the Pro version only. From the last tab you can edit the settings of the program. Like previously, two options are not included in the Free version (Automatic Clean and Automatic Updates). This means that you can’t set the program to look for updates automatically and can’t schedule any tasks to be performed in the future unless you upgrade to Pro version.

Pros

This software is very lightweight; it gets only a small percentage of CPU usage and consumes a small amount of RAM. It also comes in a portable version, which you can save as an executable file from the Tools tab and use it in any computer without installing it.

If you go through and use all the available tools, you will see that they are very accurate and capable of doing what they promise to do without problems. The cleaners do an excellent job at eliminating junk files and data, whilst the optimization utilities (especially the Internet Booster feature) have many, valuable preferences.

Cons

Well the only drawback we could find is that the portable version is Free version only, meaning that you can’t use Pro version as a portable. It is not a big disadvantage but perhaps a portable Pro version could be added in the future as well.

Alternatives

CCleaner has almost the same functions as JetClean. Even though it is considered to be the best pc cleaner utility, JetClean can easily match up to it. Auslogics BoostSpeed is another complete PC optimization suite that requires little effort to get familiar with and use it.

Conclusion

This product is a highly respectable software that can greatly increase your system’s performance, and speed it up even more if you decide to buy the Full version and unlock all features. It definitely gets our seal of approval and full stars.
