Quick Review

"Designed for data rescue."

Would you like to recover your data from severely damaged hard disks? With Encopy, all you have to do is select the folder you want to copy and where do you want it to go. Although the interface looks very amateurish, the program does exactly what it says is does, and does it well.

Here’s why you’ll enjoy working with Encopy:

  • It does not have a help file, which may be a drawback for some, but the end result surely compensates for it
  • You can select to recover only certain types of files if you use a wildcard (*.pdf to save all PDF files in the selected directory)
  • Create logs that will tell you what happened
  • Verify the copied data, to make sure you don’t have corrupted files
  • See a progress bar & statistics
  • Recognize badly damaged drives
  • Skip hidden, system, empty or read only files
  • When there are errors you can either ignore them or stop the process
  • Force faster copying, but risk corrupted data
  • Unlike other backup tools that only allow you to save the whole data from a partition or a hard disk, you can only select the folder and files you’re interested in

Download Encopy if you want to recover folders from damaged media.
