BusinessCards MX is a shareware for business cards design, creation and formatting. Installation

The application requires Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / Win 7 / Win 8 to install properly. Among other technical requirements are: CPU - Pentium processor, memory 256M or more, free hard drive space 200M.

There is no bundled software, adware, spyware or any other freeware you were not asking for. Download, install, create shortcuts and proceed with peace of mind.

Interface

The interface of the program couldn't be simpler. You can customize the app's theme for greater comfort. You do not need to get used to or familiarize yourself with it. You can browse through multiple templates, choose one and start experimenting right away. Click on the element and immediately you see its customization options in the right field. If it is text, you can type yours, change its font, color and size. If it is an image, you can choose from templates or upload your own, crop it, resize it, whatever you need. The application is very simple, intuitive and similar to numerous visual editors you could have worked with before.

It behaves like a traditional text and image editor combined in one. You can add, move, crop, resize, change objects. Fill in your company's data and save it for future projects. Every element is individually customizable. A variety of templates serve as background, while a comprehensive selection of symbolic elements can personalize your business card and give a stylish and exquisite touch.

Pros

You have access to 750 templates of business cards. The program operates with jpg, bmp, wmf, png, tiff and other graphic formats. You have access to a dozen effects like different textures, shadows, gradients, etc. You can save the project as a business card, or choose to save it as a high resolution image file. The cards come with standard size of min 70x40 and max 105x65. BusinessCards MX supports 400 papers for ink jet and laser printers from Avery, APLI, Sigel, Printec and others. Supports Unicode, so users with Cyrillic based languages can use it, too. Quick view of the print is also a plus. The free version does not currently limit individual usage to a specific time period.

Cons

Full version costs $49.95, but since the free version is feature-rich and unlimited in time, we can say we haven't found any cons.
