Research has clearly demonstrated that seeing lip movements that relate to content in a human way helps the viewer to better understand and remember what is being said. In addition, observing the movement of the lips and face during pronunciation adds an active, dynamic and human component to the verbalization process. The Japanese- to-English electronic dictionary allows the user of the dictionary to enter or search for the Japanese word on the screen and receive the English translation of the word in written and spoken form with video-like visualization.The offered translator software with a visual dimension offers considerable functional benefits to its users, increasing the effectiveness of English language study for Japanese speakers.
