The current outpost is the International Space Station, a combined effort of several space agencies. Flying higher than any airplane, at an altitude of 280 miles (450 kilometers), this large spacecraft completes its tour around the world in under 90 minutes. Relax with Space Station Manager and peacefully build a space station in low earth orbit. Construction is a breeze using the intuitive user interface to attach individual modules to the station. Detailed station simulation will give you instant feedback on the viability of your design. Visualize Energy, Thermal Control and Life Support systems graphically to determine the best possible layout. Freely move the camera around the station and inspect it in three dimensions. Complete mission goals to access new modules in the game or just zoom back and enjoy the spectacular view. To get you quickly started the game includes a library of prebuilt stations you can use in your own projects. The game is based on real module designs and uses imaging data provided by NASA for rendering earth. The game is actively developed and has a friendly online user community.
