If you like to exercise your brain by solving puzzles and riddles, you've just found a perfect program. Elite Japan Crossword features several thousand puzzles known as Japanese crosswords, nonograms, griddlers and point-by-numbers. This type of puzzles originated in Japan (hence the name) and then quickly spread all over Europe, especially the United Kingdom. And it does not matter whether you are a novice or a veteran - with EJC solving griddlers is exciting and a lot of fun.
This program has several unique features that make EJC stand out. EJC has several dozen options that can make the process of solving the puzzle more convenient. For example, EJC has "Assumption Mode" that allows you to work with the puzzle when you are not sure if your guess is right or wrong. You can later delete or apply these assumptions. It is safe to say that almost everything in the game can be changed or altered according to the needs of the player.
EJC features nice and simple design. You can choose the background picture, color of the playing field or borders, create mini-image of the puzzle and much more. All of your settings can be saved which is very important when you have several people with different preferences playing EJC on your computer.
EJC has a built-in puzzle editor, which allows you create your own custom puzzles. You can download any picture and make it into a puzzle. You can also import puzzles that your friends sent to you or the ones that you found on the Internet. All of the major formats are supported.
