The Basic Feature software solution is a driver-only software solution intended for Home Users who want a basic print and scan driver to use with their HP all-in-one device.

This software installation can be used on PC's which do not meet the minimum system requirements necessary to install the Full Featured software solution.

This installation SUPPORTS networked (Ethernet or wireless) and USB installations.

Software Installation instructions:

1. Click the Download now button.
2. Choose Open to begin the download and run the software installer.
3. If you are connecting the HP all-in-one over a network, please refer to the Setup Poster which shipped with your all-in-one for network setup and software installation instructions.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation process.
5. USB ONLY: Connect the USB cable between your HP all-in-one device and your PC when directed by on-screen instructions, and turn on your HP all-in-one device.
6. Wait for additional on-screen installation instructions before using the all-in-one.

Before installing version 4.7.0 of HP Officejet 7410 / 7410xi / 7413 All-in-One Driver Win 2000/XP/98/ME for Windows make sure this is the latest version available and that it works with your current operating system and device model. If the driver contains release notes ("readme" files) proceed with reading them first. Second recommended step is creating a restore point to help you later on in case you install the wrong device driver. Note that some drivers will work instantly after installing them, but others will require a system restart in order to function properly.
