HP will not be providing an All-in-One software solution for Windows 2000 for this device. The print-only.exe driver located on this page can be used, or drivers from the Windows 2000 Master CD can be used.

For the OfficeJet, OfficeJet LX, and Officejet 300/330/350 Series products, install the HP DeskJet 500 print-only driver from the Windows 2000 Master CD. Assign the driver to the appropriate LPT port (usually LPT1). You will be able to print to this device under Windows 2000, but scanning, faxing, and copying functions (if available on the device), must be done manually from the front panel of the device.

For the Printer/Scanner/Copier 300 Series, install the HP DeskJet 690 printer driver from the Windows 2000 Master CD. Assign the driver to the appropriate LPT port (usually LPT1). You will be able to print to this device under Windows 2000, but scanning and copying functions must be done manually from the front panel of the device.

Before installing version 1.0 of HP Officejet 300 / 330 / 350 All-in-One Driver for Windows make sure this is the latest version available and that it works with your current operating system and device model. If the driver contains release notes ("readme" files) proceed with reading them first. Second recommended step is creating a restore point to help you later on in case you install the wrong device driver. Note that some drivers will work instantly after installing them, but others will require a system restart in order to function properly.
