This package contains the latest bios for all EVGA mainboards with and X58 SLI chipset.

The following was updated in release SZ13:

* Enable OC profiles in BIOS, now you can save/load up to 8 profiles.
* Fixes bug with RAID on ports 4 and 5.
* Enabling Dummy O.C now disables C1E/EIST
* Fixes issue where system will not boot with a VTT voltage over +400mV.
* CPU PLL now goes lower than 1.3v.
* Enabled CL5 and TRAS 15
* Now pressing insert before power on automatically loads Safe Defaults (PS2 only)

INSTRUCTIONS:

BIOS updating can be accomplished VIA one of the below methods:
CD Method (Blank CD and CD Rewritable Drive Required)

* Download the following .iso file: E758_SZ13.iso
* Use a CD Burning software to burn the .iso image onto a blank CD (Nero, Alochol 120%, etc)
* Restart machine, and set the CD Drive as the primary boot device
* The BIOS flash process will begin, Press Y to program BIOS
* After flash remove the CD, power off PC Completely
* Turn on the PC and load defaults in BIOS

USB FLOPPY (Floppy Disk and Disk Drive Required)

* Download the following executable: E758_SZ13.exe
* Insert blank floppy disk into drive and run executable
* Restart machine, and set floppy as the primary boot device
* Press "Y" to program BIOS
* After flash, power off PC completely, on reboot load defaults in BIOS

Windows Installation - Alternate installation method

* Before updating your BIOS, please load BIOS defaults by hitting the delete key during POST and select: Load Defaults. Now select Save & Exit Setup. After that has been completed please follow these instructions:
* Download WinFlash.zip and E758_SZ13.bin
* Click 'File' the 'Update BIOS'
* Now locate E758_SZ13.bin and select 'Open'
* Now select browse and locate E758_SZ13.bin
* Press 'Update' and wait for flash to finish.
* Once flash has completed Press 'Yes' to reboot now.
Warning:
**Do not restart or interrupt your PC while the flash is ongoing
**Do not Flash BIOS on overclocked settings
**It is always recommended to power-down after flash and Clear CMOS

Before installing version SZ13 of EVGA X58 SLI Bios for Windows make sure this is the latest version available and that it works with your current operating system and device model. If the driver contains release notes ("readme" files) proceed with reading them first. Second recommended step is creating a restore point to help you later on in case you install the wrong device driver. Note that some drivers will work instantly after installing them, but others will require a system restart in order to function properly.

As an alternative, you can simplify the process of installing the latest versions for your drivers by using a program to scan all your drivers and compare them with the latest available versions from the manufacturers.
