This update features improved write strategies for CDR and CDRW media and fixed bug where the drive would hang when copying a DirectCD written disc.

Before installing version 1.01 (5/8/2003) of Plextor PX-504A Firmware Upgrade for Windows make sure this is the latest version available and that it works with your current operating system and device model.
