AMD Driver Pack, Version 2.1.0.1 - (Detects the current operating system(Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, Windows XP 32-bit and Windows Server 2003 32-bit) and hardware and installs the proper drivers. Refer to AMD Device Drivers Installation Guide for details)

AMD Driver Pack is a comprehensive installation program for the AMD-8000 series chipset.

The AMD Driver Pack offers customers a unified installation for device drivers for platforms based on the AMD-8000 series chipset. Using Driver Pack, it is not necessary to know which drivers in your system need to be applied. AMD Driver Pack is designed to detect the current operating system and hardware in the system. If a device in the AMD-8000 series chipsets is detected, it provides you the option to install the correct drivers.

Before installing version 2.1.0.1 of AMD Driver Pack for Windows make sure this is the latest version available and that it works with your current operating system and device model. If the driver contains release notes ("readme" files) proceed with reading them first. Second recommended step is creating a restore point to help you later on in case you install the wrong device driver. Note that some drivers will work instantly after installing them, but others will require a system restart in order to function properly.

As an alternative, you can simplify the process of installing the latest versions for your drivers by using a program to scan all your drivers and compare them with the latest available versions from the manufacturers. We recommend Driver Scanner from Uniblue for such a task. Download it and run a free driver scan here.

Antivirus information

Download3K did not scan AMD Driver Pack for viruses, adware, spyware or other badware. For your own safety, we recommend that you always have an antivirus, with virus definitions up to date, installed on your computer when downloading and installing programs from the web.
