This is the new, standalone release for Creative BlasterControl 4, designed for users running Windows 95/98/NT/2000/Me. This release also includes Improved BlasterControl Diagnostics in Windows NT and Windows 2000. It correctly detects graphics card in Windows NT (SP6) when used with Sound Blaster Live audio cards. There is also improved video palette support in Windows 2000. This release improves support in Windows Millenium and resolves display issues in localized operating systems.

Before installing version 4.28 of Creative BlasterControl for Windows make sure this is the latest version available and that it works with your current operating system and device model. If the driver contains release notes ("readme" files) proceed with reading them first. Second recommended step is creating a restore point to help you later on in case you install the wrong device driver. Note that some drivers will work instantly after installing them, but others will require a system restart in order to function properly.
