Overview

DVDFab PC Backup is a Windows backup solution that can create backups to network NAS storage, CDs, DVDs, FTP server, hard drive or external device.

Outlook email storage can also be backed up in order to avoid loss of older emails if an email server no longer holds older emails and the main email storage goes down.

Create a Windows pre-installation disc using Win PE in order to create a bootable USB hard drive, DVD, CD or USB flash drive solution that can help to reinstall Windows without the original Windows disc in the case of a Windows system that will no longer boot up. It is also possible to use the same solution to transfer an existing installation over to a newly purchased PC instead of it being necessary to install a new version of Windows on a new PC, plus install and configure all the applications afterward.

Installation

The installation requires a heavy 310.3 MB of available disk space to complete the setup process. The installation completed without any issues.

There was no adware, toolbars, spyware or malware included in the setup package.

DVDFab PC Backup requires Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 (32 bit and 64 bit supported).

Interface

The interface is very clean looking with a textured background and large toolbar buttons at the top complete with a cooling pastel-colored background.

There are options for Disk / Partition Backup, File Backup, System Backup, Smart Backup, Mail Backup, Clone, Logs, and Tools.

At the bottom of the initial display is options for Smart Backup, System Transfer, and Browse to Recover.

For anyone who is used to using backup software, the labels are pretty clear what each command feature offers.
