Art Deco influenced many of these artists. This is advertising art at it's finest. Illustrations include day dresses, garden dresses, costumes, coats, swimsuits and evening gowns. Paris Fashion Plates were printed in newspapers and "Ladies" journals and were coveted examples for women all over the world to take to their local dressmaker.
