Get into a Mezoamerican mood with this 3D screensaver. A firey Aztec skull twists and turns above the Aztec Sun Calendar, while three Aztec tokens dance to the music. Skulls are often shown in Aztec art and religious symbols. Examples can be found in the ruins of the ancient capital of the Aztec empire, Tenochtitlan. The city was built on an island in Lake Texcoco, in what is now Mexico City. It was largely destroyed in the 1520s by Spanish conquistadores.
