Designed for in-the-field use on land or at sea, Contour 3D is Data Collection, Map Processing and Visualization Windows software that runs on portable and desktop PC's with XP or Vista. It links to most GPS/Fish Finder combos and/or up to 4 NMEA 0183 capable devices to create your own new color 2D and *3D contour maps of depth, altitude or temperature for your desired location.

By recording the GPS coordinates and depth/altitude/temperature at 1 to 2 second intervals, the data is used to automatically and continuously construct a highly detailed, color visualization of the contours.

While recording points, instantly mark a spot with customizable markers such as stumps, ledges, weeds, crab traps, etc.

The contours can then be printed in high color detail, uploaded** to your GPS unit, navigated on screen, etc. Maps are also generated in a postscript format enabling you to make blow-ups of any size with no loss of quality and detail.
