StorageEdge lets you Externalize and manage terabytes of SharePoint content BLOBs (Binary Large Objects) on SAN, NAS and Cloud storage platforms. StorageEdge helps you manage your storage infrastructure without adding any expensive hardware. StorageEdge provides a multi-tier storage solution that allows you to keep your most recent or the latest documents in the most expensive storage and archives older content out to less expensive storage. This will help reduce your organizational cost as the most expensive storage is not overwhelmed with millions of documents.

StorageEdge is 100% .NET and provides seamless integration with SharePoint Central Administration. StorageEdge provides you the following features:

1. Multiple Storage Providers for SAN, NAS and Cloud
2. RBS and EBS support for content externalization
3. Multi-tier storage for archiving, bandwidth throttling, compression, encryption
4. Organized Externalized BLOBs in Folder Structure
5. Filter BLOBs on size, name, extension, and author
6. Cache BLOBs, ViewState, and List output
7. Import legacy content in SharePoint without copying
