Forex Trading System, Advertising Wizard. Foreign exchange market for currencies. Transactions in this market typically involve one party purchasing a quantity of one currency in exchange for paying a quantity of another.

The forex market is the largest and most liquid financial market in the world, and includes trading between large banks, central banks, currency speculators, corporations, governments, and other institutions.

The average daily volume in the global forex and related markets is continously growing and was last reported to be over US$ 4 trillion in April 2007 by the Bank for International Settlement.

Unlike a stock market, where all participants have access to the same prices, the forex market is divided into levels of access. At the top is the inter-bank market, which is made up of the largest investment banking firms.

The forex market is unique for many reasons one of which is the fact that trading is for long hours - 24 hours a day except on weekends from 5pm EST on Sunday until 4pm EST Friday.
