TrustPort Internet Security is a comprehensive solution for the protection of a personal computer on all fronts. It is based on a powerful multi-engine platform, effectively ranking it among the best security suites in terms of malware detection. The program scans and protects file system operations, email communications, internet downloads, and removable media operations. All entry points of the computer are thus covered against possible threats. An intelligent firewall enables legitimate applications to use the internet connection and at the same time blocks any suspicious applications. The suite also includes a parental lock, which makes it possible to monitor and block unwanted or dangerous websites. Automated updates und upgrades ensure that the software is always prepared for the latest threats. A special feature is the option to generate a portable antivirus on a removable media, e.g. a flash drive. The portable antivirus not only protects the media itself, it also enables scanning of any host computer.
